PowerNet Global Launches Nationwide DSL Program

PowerNet Global Communications (www.powernetglobal.com), a rapidly expanding integrated communications provider, announced the release of its’ nationwide DSL program today.

PowerNet Global has partnered with Covad Communications, Inc. and New Edge Network, Inc. to develop DSL packages targeted to its’ growing base of emerging businesses and high-demand residential users. These packages complete the full spectrum of Internet offerings available through PowerNet Global.

“The real winners here are our customers and sales agents. This program will enable our agents to provide our small to medium sized business and other customers with a more affordable, high speed alternative for Internet access and other data transmission requirements, said Vice President of Sales, Larry Moses. “With most of our clients choosing multiple services, our customer base illustrates the appeal of our one-stop shopping model with convergent billing. Our customers appreciate the efficiency of an integrated communications supplier and the financial stability of our company. We are pleased that through this partnership we will be expanding our products to include competitive DSL.”

DSL significantly increases the available bandwidth of the existing copper lines that serve most homes and businesses. It is particularly well suited for small to medium sized businesses looking for reliable, high-speed solutions for their communications requirements. DSL service provides dedicated, "always on" connections that are faster than ISDN and modem connections, are more affordable than dedicated T-1 and frame relay connections and are more reliable and less complicated to use than dial-up connectivity options.

Founded in 1992, PowerNet Global delivers nationwide voice, data, and Internet solutions on a wholesale and retail level to satisfied commercial and residential users.
