How to use PowerDial from a cellular (mobile) phone?

Cellular phone users can achieve substantial savings on PowerDial international rates as compared to the mobile phone companies rates. Savings of up to 75% are common!

Attention: a user will use cellular phone minutes in addition to PowerDial minutes.

Attention: DO NOT PRESS THE "SEND" KEY OR A WIRELESS COMPANY WILL CHARGE YOU UP TO $5/minute. Below is a procedure you should use to call from a cellular phone:

1. Dial 1-888-3030-730 to reach PowerDial.
2. If phone number is recognized, a prompt will say “Thank you for using PowerDial. Enter your destination number followed by a # sign”.
3. If phone number is not recognized, a prompt will ask to enter PIN.
4. Enter 1+ to make a domestic call or 011+ to make an international call and the destination number.
5. After entering the destination number either press the “#” on the handset to speed the international connection or wait for the call to complete on its own.

6. CRITICAL: DO NOT PRESS THE "SEND" KEY! If the "send" key is pressed after the destination number that tells the mobile company to place a new call, so the mobile phone company disconnects the PowerDial, and places the international call over the wireless mobile provider’s network. This results in the call being billed to the customer’s wireless mobile phone provider’s bill that could be as much as $5.00 per minute. The best way to protect from this is to call a cellular company beforehand and BLOCK ALL INTERNATIONAL CALLS FROM A CELLULAR. This will ensure that all international calls will go on PNG PowerDial 1-888-3030-730 number.

How to sign up for PowerDial service?

Step 1 - Apply for a PowerDial Account
             a) Call PNG at 1-877-550-5918 (M-F 8AM till 9PM EST, Sat 10AM till 4PM EST)
             b) on-line if you want both PowerDial and PowerOne (regular 1+ long distance service)
             c) fax-form if you want stand alone PowerDial (no changes to your long distance service)
Step 2 - After account is activated you may begin making dial around phone calls by dial 1-888-3030-730 before each call. A slight inconvenience but a substantial money saver.
